Our Little Paradise

We lived in Calgary and our friends owned a lot in phase one. They would always ask us to come and visit them. Although we traveled to Rocky Mountain House a couple times per year we never took the time to stop in until finally in 1997 we did and WOW! it was everything our friends said it was.
We had a fifth wheel RV so over the years we camped at many Alberta campgrounds plus we toured Alberta RV resorts and Alberta recreational properties but after some consideration we thought that Gleniffer Lake Resort just might work for us.

We chose phase 2 because it had deep water (year around) service. Our sales representative helped us pick our lot and told us that it was across from the general store but we had to visualize as there were only mounds of dirt and mud. We are very happy with our lot location with the green space behind us. We would come out often just to see the progress as the development continued and would change with each visit.

Frank owned a home based business in Calgary so Gleniffer Lake Resort “fit the bill” being able to leave home anytime day or night, drive 11/2 hours, unlock the door, turn on the water then put our feet up or light a camp fire.
We find the people out here are very friendly, and since the resort is gated it makes us feel secure. It’s like a small town and everyone seems to have the same thinking for purchasing property at Gleniffer Lake Resort. There are many festivities throughout the year, we find that we don’t want to go away from the resort unless we have to. Over the years Frank has been noted to wear a costume and enjoy being part of the entertainment and Gloria pitches in at various events which keeps us involved with our community.

We have sold our house in Calgary and now live here full time. We truly enjoy living here and can see why it is one of Alberta’s best kept secrets, our little PARADISE.
